I did not know Adela long, as we've been together for only two-and-a-half years. But I've heard stories from everyone who knew her about the things she did, places she traveled, her amazing appetite, and her (obviously) equally amazing health. When you attend the services of such an admired and respected person, you can't help but think your life is small. Of course it isn't, but when I think about what she lived through, endured, and accomplished, I know I have a long way to go.
Adela is survived by people who knew and loved her. Today they rejoiced in her new freedom. She will be missed, if course, but as she touched so many lives, she will never be forgotten.
Be good and try to do good things.
