Man, oh man, now I understand what my subjects have felt like in the past when I shot in the studio! I'm glad I had this experience. I was brave.
Be brave,

About a year ago, I decided that I should actually document how I look for a change. Hardly one for selfies, most current photos of myself I wouldn't show anyone, let alone frame. I thought back to the 40s when pretty much everyone had their portrait done. I decided I wanted to capture what I look now, with no gray hair, teeth, etc. However, I am seriously camera-shy, which is perhaps why I'm so much better suited behind the lens. I could think of only one photographer friend whom I'd be remotely comfortable with. It look a long time to coordinate, as she's a pretty busy person. Well, it happened two nights ago. Poor thing, try as I did, I just wasn't the best subject. I was so stupidly self-conscious. By some miracle and her talent, she was able to get some great shots.
